Description
I remember discovering View Source in the ’90s and realizing I could see how someone made a webpage. That curiosity led me to tinkering with hardware, troubleshooting Windows environments, and writing scripts to solve problems I was tired of doing manually.
Over the years, those small experiments led to opportunities I never could have planned; from building an Outlook phishing button to solve a problem at work, to creating open-source security tools, to engineering systems used by millions of people and processing billions of security events.
In this talk, I’ll share some of the things I tried, the things I broke, and the problems that sent me down unexpected paths. View Source is about cultivating the curiosity to look a little deeper, experiment, learn from what happens, and how that habit can shape the way we work, the things we build, and the people we become.
